The Cadillac ATS is a 4-door compact luxury sports sedan, soon to be available also as a 2-door coupe. When the sedan is purchased in Premium trim in rear-wheel drive it comes with a mechanical limited-slip differential, 18” summer performance tires, and the FE3 Sport Suspension. The FE3 package includes the third generation of GM's Magnetic Ride Control real-time damping system, which reads the road conditions every millisecond and can change the damping settings in only 5 milliseconds. The system provides more precise body motion control and has adjustable settings, including a competitive driving mode which also changes the stability control and traction control settings. The rear-wheel drive Premium trim is available with either a 272 HP 2.0l turbocharged 4-cylinder engine backed by a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission, or a 321 HP 3.6l normally aspirated V6 backed by the 6-speed auto box.
