2015 Audi A3 Compact Luxury Sedan Overview: Video

The Audi A3 compact luxury car has been totally redesigned for the 2015 model year, and Autobytel was invited to the launch in Northern California to get some face time, both with the car and with some Audi staff. For this Autobytel video overview, we focused on the new sedan version of the 2015 Audi A3. In previous model yeard, the A3 was only available as a hatchback. Autobytel spoke with John Schilling, who is the Product Communications Manager for Audi. He was happy to share some insights, both about the revised 2015 Audi A3, and how the new A3 is connected to forthcoming Audi products. Audi expects significant growth for the premium compact category, and expects the A3 sedan to be a large part of that. The North American division of Audi actually had to convince the company’s top decision makers in Germany that it was worth the investment to bring the A3 sedan to the United States, but that’s not all that’s on the way. There will also be a Cabriolet convertible Audi A3, an Audi S3 performance variant, and a TDI turbo diesel A3. John Schilling says the the E-Tron plug-in hybrid version of the Audi A3 is also on the horizon. Audi hopes that the price point of the Audi A3 will attract buyers who are new to the Audi brand.
