Honda is back with an all-new Civic Coupe powered by a 1.5 Liter turbocharged four cylinder engine. The 2016 model Honda Civic Coupe has gone through a significant redesign for the most popular compact car on the market. The new Civic is a solid package with a winning combination of style, performance, and technology. Prices start at $18,640 for the base LX model up to $26,500 for the Touring Sedan model. The car tested here is the Touring Coupe.
The Civic Coupe is available with 2 engines; a 2.0 liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder and a 1.5 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 174 horsepower and 162 lb-ft. of torque. The only transmission available is a CVT and there is no manual as of yet for the turbo power plant. Fuel economy is 31 MPG in the city and 41 MPG on the highway.
Competitors for the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe include the 2017 Hyundai Elantra, 2016 KIA Forte Coupe and 2016 Scion tC.
