Ford has redesigned the Focus for the 2015 model year both inside and out for a more simplified, fun-to-drive experience. Up front, the headlights and grille reflect the design of a Ford Fusion, making the Focus fit in better on dealer lots, while the interior has been simplified with fewer buttons on the steering wheel and dash as well as easy to use old school knobs for amenities like the A/C controls.
The biggest news for the 2015 Ford Focus is the addition of the 1.0 Liter three-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost motor mated to a six speed manual transmission, which is good for up to 42 MPG on the highway and an EPA average of 35 MPG. Only available on Focus SE hatchbacks and sedans, the EcoBoost package adds an extra $1,495 to the Focus’ asking price, coming in at just under $20,000.
Competitors for the 2015 Ford Focus include the Dodge Dart, Mazda3 and Chevrolet Cruze.
