2015 Ford F-150 Payload and Tow Ratings Released

Ford has revealed the payload and tow ratings for the upcoming 2015 F-150, due out later this year. This year, the new F-150 can haul up to 530 more pounds in the bed and tow up to 1,110 more pounds thanks to both new engines and innovative aluminum body structure.

Here's how the payload and tow ratings work out for each engine:

3.5L V6: Maximum Payload - 1,910 pounds, Maximum Towing - 7,600 pounds 2.7L EcoBoost V6: Maximum Payload - 2,250 pounds, Maximum Towing - 8,500 pounds 5.0L V8: Maximum Payload - 3,300 pounds, Maximum Towing - 11,100 pounds 3.5L EcoBoost V6: 3,180 pounds, Maximum Towing - 12,200 pounds
