2015 Fiat 500L, 500 Special Editions Make Miami Debut

Looking to further advance its reputation for style-forward design, the FIAT brand recently introduced special editions of both the 2015 Fiat 500L and Fiat 500 at the 2014 Miami International Auto Show. And while each offers all the flair and excitement one expects from show cars, the brand has confirmed that the dynamically designed duo is meant for dealerships, too.

The 2015 Fiat 500L Urbana Trekking is, obviously, based on the 500L Trekking model, but adds a striking two-tone appearance that combines matte black mirrorcaps, wheels and exterior accents with a black roof and a choice of six high-gloss exterior finishes: Forest Green Pearl, Deep Lava Red, Grey Metallic, Blue Tornado, yellow and white. Those distinctive color schemes for the 2015 Fiat 500L Urbana are then further complemented by Satin Chrome door handles and exterior trim. Just keep in mind that the 2015 Fiat 500L Urbana that premiered in Miami wears a one-off combination that actually won't be offered to retail customers.

On the other hand, the 2015 Fiat 500L Urbana production models will share cabin updates like a leather steering wheel complemented by leatherette door bolsters and black instrument-panel bezels, as well as a Beats Audio sound system. With that setup adding six premium speakers, an eight-channel amplifier and a 6.5-inch, trunk-mounted dual-voice coil subwoofer, the 2015 Fiat 500L Urbana Trekking will be available during the first quarter of next year, with a sticker price that starts at $22,795.

Also making its first appearance in Miami was the 2015 Fiat 500 Ribelle, which signals its "rebellious nature" with:

• Red mirror caps, roof and spoiler
• Gloss black headlamp and tail-lamp bezels
• Black-painted wheels with red caps
• Gray-on-black or gray-on-red cabins
• Four available exterior colors—white, gray, gloss black and Billet Silver
• A starting price of $17,395 and a December due date
