The Lamborghini Aventador is an icon among supercars. This raginig bull stopped by the Autobytel Headquarters for the afternoon. Thanks to Chris Bormann for these spectacular shots.
With almost 700 horsepower on tap you need some good brakes to slow you down from 217 MPH. The Aventador rocks massive carbon cerami units.
Even from a distance the scissor doors let you know this bull means business.
The look of the 2013 Lamborghini Aventador is more fighter jet than sports car.
The rear of the Aventador is all business. The center exhaust expells spent gasses while the diffuser and vents help air flow. Covering the motor is a Transparent Engine Bonnet which is a $7550 option.
The matte paint job called Marrone Apus Matt Finish [Gray] gives the Aventador a sinister look.
The LED tail lights are unique and have the same "Y" pattern as the daytime running lights up front.
The massive side intakes help with cooling vital componets while the 20-inch Gloss Black Rims stand ready for action.
On the inside the fighter jet theme continues with the layout of the center console featuring a start button hidden under a red flip-up switch.
One thing that Lamborghini doesn’t offer is a ton of trunk space. We all know that nobody cares about grocery getting in this beast.
Powering the Aventador is a 6.5 liter V-12 engine that produces 691 horsepower and 508 lb-ft. of torque. Also notice the Formula One inspired pushrod suspension.
