Are you a person who likes the Fiat 500 Abarth, but wish you could hear that lovely engine note more? Well Fiat has the answer for you with the 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth Cabriolet.
The 500 Abarth Cabriolet is similar to the 500 Abarth with the unique front fascia and the choice of either sixteen-inch cast aluminum or seventeen-inch forged aluminum wheels. Inside is the same story as you'll find the same, thick steering wheel, black or red leather seats, and the scorpion badging throughout. Where it differs is the folding soft-top roof which can be opened four different ways; closed, vent, sunroof/spoiler function, or fully open. There is one downside though with the soft-top - with the roof folded all the way down, rear visibility is limited
Power remains the same 1.4L MultiAir Turbo four-cylinder with 160 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque. That is mated to a five-speed manual transmission only. The EPA rates the 2013 500 Abarth Cabriolet at 28 City/34 Highway/31 Combined.
A 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth Cabriolet starts at $26,000. Competitors to the 500 Abarth Cabriolet include the Mazda Miata and Mini Cooper S Convertible.
