The Audi TTS is a compact sports car that is available in both two-door coupe and two-seat roadster body styles. The Audi TTS is the hottest edition of the Audi TT in terms of both performance and appearance, and it aims to attract hot shoes who enjoy maximizing style along with fun behind the wheel. The Audi TTS coupe and convertible are each motivated by the same 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that makes use of a turbocharger to grind out 265 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Quattro all-wheel drive is standard with the TTS, as is a six-speed, dual-clutch automated manual S tronic transmission. Fuel economy for the TT-S is rated at 23-mpg city and 31-mpg highway.
Both editions of the car start out in the Premium Plus trim level (MSRP $47,000 Coupe / $50,000 Roadster), which includes features such as HID headlights with LED running lights up front, automatic climate control, Bluetooth integration and a CD player. Power front sport seats wrapped in Nappa leather, 19-inch rims shod with high performance summer rubber and a rear spoiler that extends and retracts automatically are also part of the Premium Plus trim, as is the ability to make adjustments to the sport suspension, throttle response, exhaust bark and steering weight. Choosing the topless TTS roadster adds a power roof with wind deflector. The Audi TTS Prestige trim (MSRP $50,300 Coupe / $53,300 Roadster) provides a navigation system, rear parking assistance and a louder stereo system on top of the Premium Plus features and also includes heaters for the vehicle's front seats.
Options for the Audi TTS include the Baseball Optic package, which adds woven stitching to the automobile's seats, as well as the ability to upgrade to more advanced versions of the Audi MMI multimedia and communications system.
A list of cars similar to the TTS include the 2012 BMW Z4, 2012 Mercedes Benz SLK350 and 2012 Porsche Boxster.
