The Audi Q5 is a compact crossover that provides a stunningly detailed interior, a high level of premium features, and seating for up to five passengers. The Audi Q5 is also a versatile hauler, capable of accommodating as much as 57 cubic feet of cargo with the rear row folded forward. In terms of safety, the Q5 is outfitted with front side airbags, forward airbags, and side curtain airbags free of charge, with the option of rear side airbags. Electronic stability control and traction control are also provided standard with the crossover.
The Audi Q5 starts out with a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that is rated at 211 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Fuel mileage for this engine shows as 20-mpg in city driving and 27-mpg on the highway. The Q5 can also be ordered with a 3.2-liter V-6 that bumps output to 270 horses and 243 lb-ft of torque while lowering fuel economy to 18-mpg around town and 23-mpg highway. Each mill comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and quattro all-wheel drive is standard.
The Audi Q5 offers three different trim levels. The Q5 Premium starts at an MSRP of $35,600 and comes with LED tail lights and turn signals, three zones of automatic climate control, leather seats with power adjustments, the MMI vehicle and entertainment interface, and 18-inch wheels. The Q5 Premium Plus (starting MSRP $39,900) adds a panoramic sunroof, Bluetooth connectivity, seat heaters, HID headlights, a power tailgate, and power folding mirrors. The top-of-the-line Q5 Prestige (MSRP $50,100) installs keyless entry and ignition, adaptive HID headlights, a surround sound audio system, a navigation system, HD radio, and a blind-spot warning system.
