Camp Jeep New York Auto Show 2015
Held from April 3–12, 2015, the New York International Auto Show is one of the city's largest events, attracting more than one million visitors to the Javits Center for 10 days worth of auto-themed, family-friendly action. Without a game plan, you could easily miss out on the best the show has to offer, so get a head start with this list of freebies and fun things to do.
Note: You can enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets by playing the New York Auto Show's trivia game.
Toyota will be giving away one GoPro Hero 4 per day at the Toyota Camry Driving Experience. For a chance to win, get a ride in the new Camry at Toyota's outdoor driving course.
Passengers must be 18 years old, or 8 years and over if accompanied by a guardian.
Snap a pic, tag it with the hashtag #scionswagjfk, add the location, post it to Instagram, and collect your swag at the Scion booth. Swag includes Scion hats, FR-S mini racers, ear phones and more.
Scion will also have a slew of celebrity autograph signings at their booth:

Who says you can't go off roading in the heart of the city? Jeep will be offering ride alongs at their outdoor off roading course. Passengers receive a free Jeep tote bag at the end.
Live SiriusXM DJs will also be at Camp Jeep to entertain the crowd with some tunes.

Acura is giving away a 2-night, 3-day trip for two to Hollywood, CA this summer, including round-trip airfare, hotel accomodations, a pair of tickets to a summer 2015 Hollywood Bowl concert of choice, an Acura to drive for the duration of the trip, and a $1,000 gift card. You can enter for a chance to win at the Acura booth with a specialists or at one of the available kiosks.
For more immediate gratification, Acura will be giving away a $500 gas card and tickets to a baseball game during the show.
During the first weekend of the show, you can take in some culture by watching a live artist paint a city scape on an Acura TLX at the Acura booth. On the evening of April 5, the TLX will be moved to the lobby, where it will be displayed for the remainder of the show.
Good Housekeeping has teamed up with select car manufacturers* to give away 35 designer handbags valued at more than $7,500. Take a selfie in the drivers seat of a vehicle with the Women in the Drivers Seat plaque, and Instagram or tweet it with the hashtag #ghdrives, along with the car maker's respective hashtag.
Winners will be announced on the NYIAS Facebook page.
*Participating car manufacturers include: Hyundai, Mazda, Toyota, and Subaru.
Experience the fun of a virtual reality driving experience with the Toyota TeenDrive365 driving simulator. Drivers will wear an Oculus Rift headset, which immerses them in a 3D world that includes the common distractions of a busy city street; there are even 3D passengers in the adjacent and rear seats.
Designed by Toyota to educate parents and teens on the dangers of distracted driving, the experience "gives parents and teens the opportunity to learn about safe driving in a fun and engaging way that has a profound effect," said Marjorie Schussel, corporate marketing director for Toyota. "More than 80% of people who completed the drive said that they would be safer drivers."
Upon pledging to be a safe driver, you will receive a drawstring bag, sunglasses, and an insurance card holder. Toyota will also be giving away tote bags at their booth.
Adults and kids alike can tap into their inner artist by creating their own fridge-worthy Mustang art at the Ford Innovation Workshop display.
To test your parallel parking skills, try the workshop's parking simulator. For some uninhibited fun, play the body-operated EcoBoost game.
You can also enjoy seeing yourself on the big screen with the enormous selfie screen, or attempt to take a wobbly seat in one of the spinning top-like chairs.
Ford will also be handing out free tote bags at the booth.
Chrysler is giving attendees a chance to win a $45,000 credit towards the purchase of a Chrysler Group (Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, Ram or Fiat) vehicle of their choice. Sign up at one of Chrysler's kiosks or with a product specialist.
The sweepstakes ends December 31, 2015.
Take a picture of a Nissan vehicle on display at the show and share it online using #NissanNYIAS for a chance to spin the Nissan prize wheel. Prizes include Nissan-branded sunglasses, ear buds, cleaning cloths, and flying disks.
Each day a different photo challenge will be announced.
Nissan will also be giving away Red Thumb Movement reminder thumb bands to encourage attendees to avoid texting while driving.

Mazda has partnered with ESPN New York 98.7 FM with a full schedule of events at the Mazda booth, including live broadcasts, celebrity signings, and sports giveaways.
Plus, get your photo taken by ESPN at the Social Square in front of the all-new 2015 MX-5 Miata. All photos will be posted on the ESPN New York Facebook page.
Also at the Mazda booth, you can experience what it's like to drive the MX-5 Miata in the Mazda racing game.
